Residential Snow Plowing FAQs

Automatic service is generally triggered when snowfall reaches approximately two inches. Groot Lawn Care determines dispatch timing using local weather information, property conditions and safe routing considerations.

Each dispatch to your property counts as one visit. This may include qualifying snowfall, municipal-plow accumulation, drifting snow or a requested return after the property was already serviced.

A return to clear new municipal-plow accumulation counts as another snow-service visit. This reflects the additional truck dispatch, travel and work required.

Additional qualifying snow-service visits are available for $45 each. You remain on the route; the seasonal limit simply protects both parties during an unusually active winter.

SafeWalk is included with the Marvelous Winter plan and covers eligible treatment areas such as the driveway, driveway apron, one designated walkway, primary entrance steps and landing. It includes up to 15 applications when conditions warrant. Additional applications are $50 each.

No. SafeWalk helps reduce slippery conditions, but changing temperatures, precipitation, drainage and refreezing can cause ice to remain or return. Customers should continue using normal winter caution.

We cannot promise an exact service time. Routes are planned for safe and efficient service, and timing can change based on snowfall totals, road conditions, traffic, equipment and storm duration.

It is a preliminary seasonal price. Groot Lawn Care verifies your driveway, property conditions and available route capacity before confirming service.
